Amanda Nicole Dixon, age 41, formerly of Switzerland County, received her wings on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at her home after a long battle with ovarian cancer, with her mother by her side. She was born in Madison on May 26, 1982, the daughter of Angela (Jeff) Daugherty of Cincinnati and Dale (Cris) Dixon, Jr. of Vevay. Amanda worked for the Televerde Foundation until her health no longer allowed it. She loved gardening, coin collecting, crocheting, candle making, and she lover her church, her church family, reading scriptures, worshiping the Lord, and helping any person or animal she possibly could. Amanda will be forever missed and in our hearts. Survivors include her companion Sarah of Indianapolis; her son (fur baby) Binksy; her sister Laura Ashley Dixon of Ludlow, Kentucky; her step-brothers Christian, Joey (April), and Jaden Miller of East Enterprise and Cody Turner of Vevay; her uncles Tony (Anna) Spoores of Vevay and David (Kari) Daugherty of Ludlow; her aunt Paula (Pat( Franks of Cincinnati; her step-aunts Lisa Turner, Krista Sherman, and Melody Clark all of Cincinnati; step-uncle Matthew Sellet of Moores Hill; her grandparents Larry and Myra Spoores of  Vevay, Tony and Sandi Simon of Osgood, and Nancy Sellet of Cincinnati, and her nieces Akira and Kaiya Yeager and nephew Chase Yeager. She was preceded in death by her uncle Scott Singleton and her step-sister Loni Amber Lynn Turner. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 20 at the Switzerland County 4-H Banquet Hall at 5 p.m. for those who would like to attend.
